What's a GFM task list?

GitHub-Flavored Markdown task lists use the syntax '- [ ] item' for unchecked and '- [x] item' for checked. They render as interactive checkboxes on GitHub, GitLab, Obsidian, Notion, Bear, iA Writer, and most modern markdown editors.

What can Analyze mode do?

It counts total/completed/pending tasks, reports max nesting depth, calculates percent complete, and lets you check all, uncheck all, or remove completed with one click.

What can Generate mode do?

Paste plain text (one item per line) and it builds a GFM task list with optional indentation and an 'all checked' toggle.

Does it preserve nested lists?

Yes. Nested task lists are preserved and their depth is reported in the stats. Check-all and uncheck-all work across all depths.
